Niniejszy tytuł powstał w dziesiąte urodziny wymienionej serii, ukazującej losy poszczególnych przestępców, którzy zaczynając od zwykłego chłopca na posyłki i speca od brudnej roboty, wspinają się na coraz wyższe pozycje w gangsterskim ?wiecie.
Scenariusz owej produkcji został przygotowany przez Dana Housera, który pracował m.in. przy Canis Canem Edit (alias Bully), Manhunt i The Warriors oraz rzecz jasna przyłożył rękę do większo?ci poprzedniczek GTAIV. Fabuła koncentruje się wokół postaci obcokrajowca o nazwisku Niko Bellic. Bohater w wyniku listów otrzymanych od swojego kuzyna postanawia opu?cić Europę Wschodnią i przybywa do Stanów Zjednoczonych. Niestety zastana przez niego rzeczywisto?ć daleko odbiega od opisanej w korespondencji emailowej. Roman skłamał, że posiada dwie żony, sporych rozmiarów kolekcję samochodów oraz kilkucyfrowe konto w banku. Co więcej okazuje się, że niesforny krewniak nieustannie wpada w nowe kłopoty, a jego życie wcale nie jest takie kolorowe.
Roman staje się pierwszym zleceniodawcą protagonisty i powoli zapoznaje go z lokalną siatką przestępców. Rzecz jasna w miarę sukcesywnego zaliczania kolejnych etapów zabawy lista potencjalnych pracodawców wydłuża się. Można się z nimi kontaktować zarówno osobi?cie, jak i za po?rednictwem telefonu komórkowego (za jego pomocą uruchamiamy również tryb multiplayer). Istotne jest, że akcja rozwija się w zależno?ci od podejmowanych decyzji i kolejno?ci wykonywania otrzymanych zadań. Pozwala to graczowi wpływać na bieg aktualnych zdarzeń oraz zachęca go do ponownego rozpoczęcia zabawy.
Wykonując konkretną misję należy najpierw przebrnąć przez labirynt poszczególnych ulic, aby dotrzeć do ostatecznego celu, zaznaczonego na mapie miasta. Trasę pokonuje się pieszo, słynnymi żółtymi taksówkami, bąd? zdobytym (czyt. skradzionym) pojazdem, w?ród których znajdują się m.in. motocykle oraz samochody ciężarowe bąd? osobowe. Tradycyjnie w czasie jazdy ma się sposobno?ć słuchania wybranej przez siebie stacji radiowej, emitującej licencjonowane kawałki. Jedną z zaimplementowanych rozgło?ni prowadzi Lazlow, znany z wcze?niejszych odsłon serii. Po dotarciu na wyznaczone miejsce niejednokrotnie trzeba zmierzyć się z licznymi oponentami – w tym celu można skorzystać z zaoferowanego arsenału broni (m.in. pistolety i różnego rodzaju karabiny).
Miejscem rozgrywki uczyniono wirtualne miasto Liberty City, do złudzenia przypominające Nowy Jork i zawierające typowe dla tej metropolii budowle (m.in. Statua Wolno?ci, Most Brooklyński i Empire State Building). Ową lokację podzielono na pięć dzielnic: Broker (Brooklyn), Algonquin (Manhattan), Dukes (Queens), Bohan (Bronx) i Alderney (New Jersey). Wirtualne ?rodowisko zostało całkowicie zurbanizowane, a rozwinięta sieć dróg i nowoczesna architektura, przedstawiona w sposób nadzwyczaj realistyczny, zachęca do ciągłej eksploracji.
W przygotowaniu dopracowanej i bogatej w szczegóły oprawy wizualnej developerzy wykorzystali silnik RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine). Dzięki zastosowaniu owej technologii użytkownik obserwuje niesamowitą grę cieni, refleksy ?wietlne, dym mieszający się z powietrzem i dopieszczoną animację postaci omijających dziury w chodniku, noszących siatki z zakupami czy siedzących na ławkach. Spore wrażenie robią również wschody i zachody słońca, diametralnie wpływające na wygląd i kolorystykę z reguły szarego miasta. |

MaTiKcOoL, w twoim po¶cie nie działa link 12, chyba że to chwilowa awaria serwera.
Dorzucam mirrory, w wypadku wyga¶nięcia będzie można sobie skompletować pliczki. Na serwerze filesend jest troszeczkę inna nazwa pliku, lecz on na 100% będzie pasować, to te same pliki.
